TREATMENTS

Here at Weymouth Physiotherapy we use only high quality treatment approaches to help you get back to your best.  Weymouth Physiotherapy is a strong believer in what we in the profession call evidence based practice.  This means we only offer treatment if there is good solid science proving that it works.

The cornerstones of our treatment plans are:

  • Ensuring you fully understand your condition  / injury and the things that can affect it
  • Enabling normal, full, fluid and natural movement
  • Appropriate loading and strengthening

Unfortunately there are so many myths out there when it comes to treatment (see the myths series on the blogs page for some examples).  These myths can unfortunately negatively affect your recovery.  This is why we do not use treatments such as acupuncture and ultrasound and we use manual therapy / massage judiciously rather than routinely.

Weymouth Physiotherapy like to ensure you fully understand the reasons for treatment so together we can come up with your perfect treatment plan.  This means you don't spend excess time and effort on things that you do not require, saving you money and ultimately getting you back to full health quicker and staying healthy longer.

FIND OUT IF WE CAN HELP YOU

We want to be able to help you.  If you have pain or stiffness or an ache that is stopping you living life to the full then there is most definately something we can do about it.  We have a lot of experience in helping people see our testimonials page for more information, equally check out our conditions pages for the sort of things we commonly see

If you are not convinced that there is something that can be done, perhaps the pain has been there too long, perhaps you feel it will settle anyway or you've had treatment before and it hasn't worked, then we have something for you.

Our talk to a physio service allows you to explain your problem to us and we can talk you through the options for getting on top of it.  This is free of charge and allows you to build confidence and trust with us. If you are particularly dubious then we also offer free taster sessions whereby you come to the clinic to discuss things.  Click on the links below.
